Tucson gunman Jared Lee Loughner is member of racist anti-immigrant hate group
We are seeing a strong reaction of protests across the United States against the Tucson shooting occurred two days ago. However, very few are mentioning the fact that the gunman who tried to kill Arizona Congresswoman Gabriel Giffords, was a member of a racist anti-immigrant organization.
Jared Lee Loughner killed 6 people (Christina Green, 9; Dorothy Morris, 76; John Roll, 63; Phyllis Schneck, 79; Dorwan Stoddard, 76; Gabriel Zimmerman, 30) and wounded 14 others.
We see, there is a relation between the violence promoted by hate groups like the Tea Party and leaders within the Republican party, and the anti-immigrant sentiment that is growing in the United States. It’s the same hatred and division promoted not only by fanatic groups, but also by the U.S. government immigration policies and state governments like Arizona with its racist law SB1070.
It is the same violence that killed Raul Flores, 29 and his daughter Brisenia Flores, 09 on May 2009 in Arizona, murdered by members of the Minutemen. There was not a ceremony to honor them.

We have to denounce that the increasing hatred against immigrants, against the indigenous communities or Latinos, is also promoted from the U.S. government with its anti-immigrant policies and mass incarcerations of parents and children, mostly Natives, indigenous immigrants.
